1st Android Gomoku Competition - beta version

1st tournament for mobile phones! - beta version!

Organizers: Czech Renju Federation in cooperation with Libor Svejda

Date: 01.01.2012 (00:00) – 31.03.2012 (23:59)

How to play: install a free program from android market into your mobile phone. During a first login register your nickname.

System of competition:

• 1. Players can play their games whenever they want.
• 2. Players need to play 50 games against 10 different oponents at least.
• 3. A draw is played if the game board is full.
• 4. A game is won if a player puts 5 in a row.

Winners:

• 1st criterion: number of victories,
  
• 2nd criterion: number of games (total sum of wins, draws, losts),
• 3rd criterion: results of personal games between players

Price: 1st place – 25 euro and wooden gomoku board, 2nd place 15 euro, 3rd place 10 euro

Registration:not necessary, participation is for free.

Other: Up-to-date results and history of games will be possible to check at www.piskvorky.cz. Unfinished games are counted as walkover for the player who left the games as the first. This competition is a beta version, we ask players to refer possible mistakes and we will appreciate all ideas to improve the gomoku application.
